Norway

I was recently very lucky and got the opportunity to visit Norway!  It was incredible and has now formed the lastest basis for my patterns.  Starting with our boat trip.....

I used this image as a basis for a few drawings which then got scanned and photoshopped and ended up as...

This originated as a photo which I think is going to become a stencil when I manage to get my craft robo to cut it out. Fingers crossed for a stenciled norwegian house print next.

Having been inspired by my lecture this evening I came home and created poppies...

Discovered some interesting fonts in the process.

Having spent a few hours playing around with photoshop I have managed to create a layered pattern...

My inspirations

My pattern designs tend to come from photos I take in my environment.  The inspiration for my rubber stamp pattern came from this photo...

Over the last few weeks I've been trying to capture the signs of early spring.  Here are a few little snapshots (inspired patterns to follow hopefully!)



My First Pattern Post....

I've been a busy bee creating my own rubber stamp and playing around with some scrapbooking materials to create some patterns.  I hope this is a little inspiration to help get some patterns posted to me!
